Here are a few recent pics of what’s to come… The whitetail are having good horn growth with spring rains, does are dropping fawns, pigs are just being pigs and lots of jakes that will be shooters this season and even some long beards that out foxed us still strutting around!

It has been way too long since I have seen mountains, running water, and grass that is green! I headed home to North Carolina for some mountain longbeard action and was not disappointed. Was kinda tough hunting, only because we took the curse of the video camera! But managed to kill a few nice birds, catch a few trout, see some friends and family, put a transmission in my truck and eat like kings. Love going home!!!

The boys arrived from Alabama on Sunday, and Monday morning gobblers were dying! Birds were still not super responsive because of the cold weather but killed all nice mature birds with great food and stories to boot. Can’t wait til next spring with these boys but we have a date with some Big Texas Whitetails First!

Texas Rio Turkey Hunt and Texas Hogs as the Rackay group returns from CO April 8th-12th

Well the Colorado boys are back for texas turkey and hog hunting and making there presence known! The gobblers were pretty henned up but we managed to knock down several long beards, a coyote, plenty of hogs and a bonus Corsican! Gotta Love Texas!!!

Oryx and Texas Hog Hunt March 30th

Long time clients Kelly Clark and Frank Bugsby came down for a oryx hunt, and were not disappointed! Frank scored on a 42 incher and Kelly shot a great meat oryx. Then Colter and Travis filmed John taking down his first oryx. And if that wasn’t enough Gary and his friends and family came in for a quick Texas Hog hunt and scored on 2 HUGE boars! Nice work gents…
